Why you need an EV battery check.
The high-voltage battery is the heart — and most expensive component — of any EV or hybrid. Whether buying or selling, a professional battery health check gives you a clear understanding of the vehicle's true condition.
A battery pack can look perfect while already being 20–40% degraded with no warning lights displayed. Our advanced diagnostic tools reveal the true State of Health (SoH%) in minutes.
Replacing a degraded EV battery typically costs between $10,000–$30,000+. A professional battery diagnostic today could help you avoid major unexpected replacement costs in the future.
We check individual battery cell groups for imbalance, overheating history, and degraded cells that can cause sudden range loss or charging issues. Standard pre-purchase inspections cannot detect these problems.
Receive a comprehensive same-day diagnostic report written in clear, easy-to-understand language — helping buyers and sellers make informed decisions with confidence.
Our battery health report provides valuable information for negotiating, pricing, or proving battery condition. A lower SoH% can significantly affect vehicle value, while a healthy battery can help justify asking price.
Don't rely on the dashboard
Many EVs and hybrids can still display a full battery indicator even when the battery has significantly degraded. Only a professional OBD diagnostic scan can reveal the true battery health percentage.
Save thousands
Replacing a degraded EV battery can cost between $10,000–$30,000+. A professional diagnostic inspection today could save you from extremely expensive repair or replacement costs later.
Written report — same day
You receive a full written diagnostic report the same day — clear, detailed, and easy to understand — so you can confidently buy, sell, negotiate, or simply better understand the condition of the vehicle.

Common questions.
Everything you need to know before booking. Still unsure? Email us — we reply fast.
How long does a battery diagnostic take?+
Typically 45–75 minutes on-site. The vehicle needs to be accessible with sufficient charge for the full scan.
Will the inspection void anything?+
No. All checks are non-invasive — we don't dismantle components or open the high-voltage pack. We connect via standard diagnostic ports.
Do you cover used Tesla, BYD, MG, Polestar, etc.?+
Yes. We diagnose all major EV and PHEV brands sold in Australia, including Tesla, BYD, Polestar, MG, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Toyota and more.
When do I get the report?+
Same day, by email. For complex inspections we'll confirm a delivery window when you book.
Can I be present during the inspection?+
Absolutely — we encourage it. You'll learn a lot about the vehicle and we're happy to talk through findings on the spot.
What if I need to cancel?+
24+ hours notice = full refund. Less than 24 hours = 40% retained. Less than 2 hours = 60% retained. Two free reschedules with 24 hr notice.
