EV & Hybrid Pre-Purchase Inspections QLD Pty Ltd
Terms and Conditions of Service (Queensland Only) — Version 16 February 2026

By booking, paying for, or accepting delivery of services from EV & Hybrid Pre-Purchase Inspections QLD Pty Ltd ("Company", "we", "us"), you ("Customer", "you") agree to these legally binding Terms and Conditions.

01 Definitions

  • Services — Queensland-based EV & Hybrid pre-purchase inspections and add-ons including PPSR searches.
  • Report — written findings, photos, diagnostic outputs, battery health commentary and PPSR certificates.
  • Vehicle — the vehicle or item subject to inspection.
  • Fees — the amount payable at time of booking.

02 Scope of Services

  • All inspections are visual and non-invasive unless expressly agreed in writing.
  • No dismantling or removal of components is performed.
  • High-voltage battery packs are not opened or internally disassembled.
  • Findings are based on observable condition and accessible electronic data at time of inspection only.
  • We do not provide roadworthy certificates.

03 PPSR Certificate (if included)

  • PPSR search conducted via authorised third-party provider.
  • Official certificate supplied to the Customer.
  • Results reflect status at date/time of search only.
  • We rely on Commonwealth PPSR system and third-party provider accuracy.
  • We do not guarantee future encumbrance-free status.
  • Customer is advised to conduct final PPSR search immediately prior to purchase completion.

04 Fees, Rescheduling & Cancellation

  • Payment required prior to release of Report unless otherwise agreed.
  • Two reschedules permitted with minimum 24 hours notice.
  • 24+ hours cancellation: full refund.
  • Less than 24 hours: 40% retained.
  • Less than 2 hours: 60% retained.
  • Vehicle unavailable or unsafe conditions may incur a call-out fee.

05 Inspection Requirements

  • Vehicle must be located within Queensland.
  • Vehicle must be accessible and on a hard, level surface.
  • Safe working conditions must exist.
  • Sufficient fuel or battery charge required for road test (if included).
  • We may refuse inspection or testing if vehicle is deemed unsafe or unroadworthy.

06 Report & Purchase Decision

  • Report reflects condition at time of inspection only.
  • Report is not a recommendation to purchase.
  • Latent or hidden defects may exist.
  • Battery health assessments do not guarantee future performance or warranty outcomes.
  • Customer remains responsible for independent due diligence.

07 Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

  • Total aggregate liability capped at the greater of $1,000 or three (3) times the Fees paid.
  • No liability for indirect, consequential, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or business loss.
  • No liability for third-party system errors including PPSR providers or diagnostic platforms.

08 Intellectual Property

  • Report is licensed to the named Customer only.
  • Report must not be reproduced or distributed without written consent.
  • All intellectual property remains vested in the Company.

09 Privacy

Personal information is collected and handled in accordance with Australian privacy legislation and our Privacy Policy.

10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. We accept no responsibility for regulatory requirements outside Queensland.

11 Customer Acceptance

Digital acceptance via online booking constitutes legally binding agreement to these Terms.
